I am the kinda person who gets energy and refreshment from being by myself in nature. So makes sense to take my camera and capture some of what I love :) (no editing done.. straight off camera)

Kate and Tim got married nearly 6 years ago.. and back from Aussie for a holiday, they decided they wanted an updated wedding shoot. I was super excited to help out!! Kate deserves a long service award in friendship.. we've been friends for 10ish years and she's one of my all time favourites. We have the kind of friendship that just picks off where it left off.. its easy, simple, deep and so so so good. I've had some really dark seasons in my life and Kate was there walking with me. She's not only gorgeous externally, but if I grew up and became like Kate, I would be happy. She's a goodie! I love this girl lots and lots. AND best news EVER (!!!!!!!!!!) they are soon to be moving back to NZ. I am so happy :)

Arent they a good looking couple! We had such a  blast :) Not sure how photographers do real weddings.. we were so tired after a couple of hours of doing this fake shoot.. a real wedding day must be completely exhausting! There are so many photos of these two that I completely love.. they just made it so easy! But so hard to choose ones to put up here! Cant wait for the week and a bit before they are back.. almost peeing my pants.

Katie the Photogenic One..

Wow.. where do I start with this lovely lady? Katie and I met a couple of years ago being bridesmaids at a mutual friend, Aimee's wedding. We seemed to click instantly.. she is a truly beautiful soul inside and out (as u can clearly see with the photos), she has an honesty about her that I just LOVE! Tragically we lost Aimee last year, but I am so thankful to Aimee for introducing me to Katie! Katie came for a visit and we had a spare hour so I decided to take the amazing opportunity to take this snaps. She really is easy to photograph..

Gorgeous spring day with Mary

Mary is one of those friends you call when you are happy or sad or just whenever you just wanna talk. She is wise and just plain fun times. When I started doing my photography course last year, Mary was of course on the top of my list to want to photograph. And BOY was our day filled with laughs and fun! So here she is working her stuff.. 

 Doesnt she just fizzle and sizzle!! 

 I think this is my fav.. she just looks so raw and beautiful! 

Thanks Mary for being my guinea pig... I had so much fun with you. Lets do it again sometime soon (this time in the lavender?)!!
